Ballet is the core of all dance here at Dancers Workshop. We, as a studio, take pride in the ballet training that is instilled in all of our dancers, from 3 years of age to adult. Ovation provides instruction in all essential aspects of classical ballet training, such as:
Ballet Technique, Pre-pointe and Pointe work, Stretch and Strengthening,
Character Dance,Pantomime, Pas De Deux, Nutrition and Injury Prevention
Students fulfilling curriculum requirements are considered members of the ballet company. Any company member may audition for the performing company, Ovation. This performing company is for the serious student and trains during extra rehearsals to perform classical works, such as The Nutcracker.

Curriculum Requirements:
3rd & 4th grades: Minimum of 1 ballet class per week
5th & 6th grades: Minimum of 2 technique classes per
week - one must be ballet
7th grade & Up: Minimum of 3 technique classes per
week - 2 must be ballet and/or pointe
