Vision Competition Dance Company at Dancers Workshop
Vision is Dancer's Workshop Competitive Dance Company - a source of new friendships, fun, and healthy competition experiences, and hours of rewarding hard work and motivating fellowship, for the dancers and their families alike! The Vision Competition Dance Company is grouped into smaller companies, based on age, level of technique, and performance ability. Although Vision is comprised of different performing groups, we are one, BIG team! Supportive and encouraging of one another and on the day of contest, we are each other's biggest fans! The Vision instructors believe that a supportive and positive atmosphere creates an environment where dedication, technique, and a shared passion to dance and perform come together to create a winning team, no matter what happens on the contest floor! Vision is directed by Dancers Workshop instructor, Lori Murillo. Shannon Orosco, Katie Beglau, and Lauren Wilson are Vision choreographers/instructors. CONGRATULATIONS TO THE 2012-2013 VISION COMPETITION DANCE COMPANY !!! (as of May 24th, 2012 ) Thank you so much to all of the dancers that came to audition this past Saturday. The Vision staff had such a fun time with you and our hope is that you had a great time dancing with old and new friends! Below is the list of dancers that we are inviting to Vision, based on your dancing at the audition. FOR EACH DANCER TO BECOME AN OFFICIAL COMPANY MEMBER AND PLACED INTO COMPANY CLASSES BY THE OFFICE, EVERY PARENT MUST E-MAIL VISION DIRECTOR LORI MURILLO AT HER E-MAIL ADDRESS WITH A “WE ACCEPT!” OR “WE DECLINE”. The Vision page of the Dancers Workshop website is undergoing some “reconstruction”, but please check back periodically starting mid-June for news and information about the upcoming Vision year! Included in the June information will be the fall rehearsal class schedule for the Vision dancers. There are changes coming to the current Vision rehearsal class times, so even our veteran parents will want to be checking!  Vision is excited to announce an exciting addition to our family- VISION SPARKLE- the new K-1 dance company! If you know any dancers that would be interested in this exciting new venture, please let them know that we are holding a mandatory “Vision Workshop” on Friday, April 24th. Posters will be going up in the studio and more info will be posted on the website in June!  DO YOU KNOW ANY OTHER DANCERS THAT WOULD LOVE TO BE A PART OF VISION WITH YOU?! Our second audition is on Saturday, August 25th and posters will be posted in the studio this summer!
