Observation windows are left open at the teacher's discretion for your viewing pleasure. When blinds are open, please
do not knock or talk to your children through the window. Please stand back from the glass so the children don't feel
as though you are intruding on their class.  The teacher may close the blinds if she feels the class, including your child,
would benefit without the additional distraction of observers.  At the beginning of the year, the teacher may keep the
blinds closed until the last ten minutes of class especially for young classes coping with separation anxiety.   Please
do not knock on the window or insist the blinds be opened.  Teachers enjoy their classes being observed but will do
what is necessary for each child to have a wonderful dance experience.  The teacher will always try to open the blinds
the last ten minutes of class.

Teachers will assist children with their belongings at the beginning and ending of class.  Children do better separating from their parents in the waiting area rather than in the studio.  Therefore, we encourage parents to remain outside the studio door prior to and following class.

Students may only be left at the studio a maximum of 15 minutes after their last class of the day.  Dancers Workshop
is not equipped to care for students after  their dance class.  Prompt pickup is encouraged and appreciated.

Students arriving late for class will be asked to sit and observe.  Please if you have young children and are late do not interrupt the class.  This is very distracting and discourteous to the children who have arrived on time.  Our ability to provide quality classes requires your cooperation in this area.

Dressing properly for class demonstrates respect for the teacher and the art form.  Students wearing inappropriate dance wear will be asked to sit and observe.  The teacher cannot make corrections without being able to see the dancer's body, legs and feet.

Feel free to notify the office of any problems you may have regarding classes, illness, accounts, etc.   If you need to speak with the teacher inform the office or send a note with your child.  Teachers are not allowed to leave their classes unattended to consult with parents.  Concerns are best discussed privately when the teacher is able to devote the time to your needs.

Dancers Workshop's daily schedule is often a 14-hour day.  The office is staffed as many hours of the day as possible.  If no one is in the office, please leave a message at the message center instead of interrupting classes to ask an instructor to handle a problem.   Calls with be returned ASAP.  If a message is left, keep in mind that many of our instructors do not finish with classes until 10:00 P.M.  Therefore, calls may be returned the following day.

Dancers Workshop is not responsible for items left or lost at the studio.  Please keep valuables at home.

Please help keep the waiting areas clean and safe.  Children should not be allowed to run in the halls, stand on the benches, or hit on the "glass" windows.  Do not allow children, including siblings, to eat in the studio.

Late Pickup Policy - if your child requires staff supervision after their required pickup time, your account will be
assessed a Late Pickup Fee according to this scedule:
Late 5-15 minutes - $10 fee per occurrence Late Over 15 minutes - $20 fee per occurrence
This fee will be paid along with the next month’s tuition.

If your account is more than 60 days past due, your dancer will not be allowed to continue with their technique classes. Balance must be paid in full to return to classes or student will be permanently dropped.

Please be prompt in picking up your children after class. If this is a recurring event, a fee will be incurred.
