$vision is dancers workshop’s first competitive dance company. developed by workshop faculty member, allyson wegehoft, this company is comprised of Teams based on age and ability. We need for each Vision family to send an acceptance of membership via e-mail to loridancersworkshop@gmail.com so that we can begin creating our new roster and planning for our new competition pieces. Please respond by June 22nd to let us know if you will be joining Vision in August! There are some facts, dates, and details listed for you below…please read them over and e-mail with any questions you have! We will continue to update the Vision page on the Dancers Workshop website through the summer with new information and reminders, so visit the page throughout the summer!  Summer classes at the Workshop will be starting up next week!! There are some exciting ideas we have in mind for each performing group next year, and we would love for the Vision dancers to continue their training through the summer. It’s important that we begin strong in the fall in our technique, stamina, and performance endurance so that we are moving forward in our standard of choreography and style!  Visit the Dancers Workshop website or call the office for information on summer classes and specialty dance camps. Here are the rehearsal times for the Vision groups next year. More information regarding rehearsals and attendance policies will be in the Vision Handbook that you will receive at the August Parent Meeting. K-3: Fridays 3:30-4:30 Mini Silver and Mini Blue: Fridays 4:30-6:30 Junior Silver and Junior Blue: Fridays 5:30-7:30 Senior Silver and Senior Blue: Wednesdays 7:30-9:30 VISION REHEARSALS WILL START WITH THE FIRST WEEK OF FALL CLASSES, DURING THE WEEK OF AUGUST 17TH. There is a mandatory Parent Meeting for every Vision group on Friday, August 28th, from 7-9 pm. There will be no rehearsal scheduled on the 28th for K-3, the Minis, or the Juniors. Seniors WILL rehearse on Wednesday, the 26th. Very important Vision information will be given out at this meeting, including details on finances, the calendar, the Handbook, and contest information. DATES TO REMEMBER!! June 22nd- deadline for acceptance of membership to Vision August 17th- first week of fall classes at Dancers Workshop and Vision rehearsals August 28th- Vision Parent Meeting (mandatory) from 7-9 pm at the studio September 12th- Vision rehearsathon 9 am-9pm…details to follow soon! This is a MANDATORY rehearsal day for all company members. An entire contest piece will be taught to each group. Any dancer that is not in attendance will not be put into the formation. Please mark your calendar! December 11th- Vision Dinner Theater…details to follow. there is one more vision audition date - august 29th.
