Vision is Dancer's Workshop Competitive Dance Company - a source of new friendships, fun, and healthy competition experiences, and hours of rewarding hard work and motivating fellowship, for the dancers and their families alike! The Vision Competition Dance Company is grouped into smaller companies, based on age, level of technique, and performance ability. Although Vision is comprised of different performing groups, we are one, BIG team! Supportive and encouraging of one another and on the day of contest, we are each other's biggest fans! The Vision instructors believe that a supportive and positive atmosphere creates an environment where dedication, technique, and a shared passion to dance and perform come together to create a winning team, no matter what happens on the contest floor! Vision is directed by Dancers Workshop instructor, Lori Murillo.
Shannon Orosco, Katie Beglau, and Laurel Seymour are Vision choreographers/instructors.

An AMAZINGLY successful Vision Rehearsathon!!
Congratulations to the entire Vision company for a full day of hard work and beautiful results on our second contest routines!! The Vision instructors set high expectations for each one of you and you far exceeded our expectations! We are SO excited about the upcoming year! Rehearsathon created a fun Sesame Street pom for the Munchkins, a high-energy "pots and pans" prop for the Mini Silvers, a super-funky "rainy" hip hop for the Mini Blues, an exciting "office" prop for the Junior Silvers, a beautiful lyrical for the Junior Blues, a "sunny" lyrical for the Senior Silvers, and an AWESOME hip hop for the Senior Blues! WOW!! Thank you to each of you for being on time and giving every bit of energy and focus that you have. Thank you also to our Vision parents for bringing your daughters up to the studio on such a rainy day! We appreciate all that YOU do to help make Vision such a success!

Please remember to notify Lori when you know there is a conflict with a Vision rehearsal. A private MUST be scheduled in order to teach your daughter all missed choreography. It is most helpful to schedule the private in between the missed rehearsal and the following Vision rehearsal. We want for your dancer to feel confident at the following rehearsal.

Weekly Vision Rehearsal Tips!
Please send your dancer with water to drink during breaks, not soft drinks.
As we begin learning multiple dances, your dancer will need both her jazz shoes and her hip hop shoes. Please make sure that she has labeled them with her name on the inside of her shoes and that she has both of them in her dance bag. Dancers are not allowed to dance barefoot in the studios.
Until we get our official "Vision rehearsal outfit" in, your dancer can wear any dance wear that she would like, but casual clothes (skirts, shorts, jeans, etc.) are not appropriate.
Please remind your dancer to wait for you to pick her up inside the studio and not outside!

WHEN LAST-MINUTE EMERGENCIES ARISE ON FRIDAY AFTERNOONS AND YOUR DANCER MAY BE LATE TO REHEARSAL, PLEASE CALL THE DANCERS WORKSHOP OFFICE AND LEAVE A MESSAGE IF NO ONE IS AT THE DESK AT 349-7197 OR
E-MAIL LORI AT loridancersworkshop@gmail.com WE UNDERSTAND THAT EMERGENCIES CAN HAPPEN, BUT PLEASE MAKE EVERY EFFORT TO GET YOUR DANCER TO HER REHEARSAL ON TIME, AS IT DOES AFFECT THE REST OF THE COMPANY WHEN FELLOW DANCERS AREN'T PRESENT.
