Lexi Keese found dance as her first love at a very young age and later ended up finding her home at Dancers Workshop. Lexi was apart of Austin Dance Works at Dancer’s Workshop for 3 years where she began to travel with them to compete at conventions and competitions and go train at professional dance studios in LA. Then later being apart of Creative Culture Dance Company’s first two years, where she had her own choreography featured in the 2018 CCDC “Breaking Ground” Show. Lexi’s senior year of high school she attended Velocity Nationals where she was handpicked by Kyle Hanagami to be apart of their MVA+ Program where she currently tours with the convention, assisting and training with their amazing faculty. After high school Lexi moved to California to be apart of a Shannon Mather’s Bridge Into the Industry Program where she learned all about the dance industry and important skills like on-camera skills, interviewing, resume building and so much more. All while getting great dance training at Mather Dance Company. During her time in LA she also had to opportunity to dance in the Industry Dance Awards with the company Radiance choreographed and directed by Rudy Abreu. Lexi has recently become PBT (progressive ballet technique) certified and is excited to be back in Austin going to school and exploring her love for teaching and choreographing.
