Juwan Alston

Juwan began dancing at the age of 15 at Cedar Ridge High School in Round Rock, TX. He was awarded the Senior Hip-Hop Scholarship at the Texas Association of Teachers Dancing Inc. convention in June 2012. He began serious study of ballet at Dancers Workshop in Austin, TX. In 2013, he attended American Ballet Theatre’s Summer Intensive on scholarship. Juwan attended the University of North Carolina School of the Arts in 2014, where he performed in ballets by Sir Frederick Ashton, George Balanchine, Susan Jaffe and Ethan Stiefel. Currently, he serves as a Professional Mentor for Texas Future Dance Educators, Guest Faculty for the UNC School of the Arts Preparatory Dance Program and as a freelance master teacher. Since joining Charlotte Ballet in 2015, he has performed in ballets by Ohad Naharin, Dwight Rhoden, Alonzo King, Jean-Pierre Bonnefoux, Sasha Janes, David Ingram and Mark Diamond.

Hannah Douglas

Hannah Douglass has been working professionally in the Los Angeles dance community for over ten years. She has appeared live and on television with artists such as Beyonce, Jay-Z, Britney Spears, Big Sean, The Weeknd, Snoop Dogg, Future, Aloe Blacc and many more. Her notable television credits include Glee, 90210, the Super Bowl, Dancing with the Stars, My Crazy-Ex Girlfriend, The Late Late show with James Corden, and multiple major award show performances including the Grammys and the Oscars. Hannah can also be seen dancing in the feature films Lalaland, Valley Girl, What to Expect When You’re Expecting, Footloose, Iron Man2, Dance Flick, and Bedtime Stories. Her commercial and industrial credits include Nike, Hurley, Pepsi Max, Fruit of the Loom, Apple Ipad, Chevrolet, and Guitar Hero. Her career thus far has allowed her to travel around the world doing what she loves, and to work with some of the most inspiring people in the entertainment industry. For the past five years she has toured the world with Beyonce on her three major tours “The Mrs. Carter Show”,  the “On the Run” tour with Jay-Z and Beyoncé, and the “Formation World Tour”. Hannah is thrilled to be able to pass on the wisdom and knowledge she has gained from her many years as a professional in both the commercial and the touring world of dance.

Staci Levine

Levine, the owner of Groundswell Theatricals, is a NYC-based producer/general manager. Staci has produced on Broadway, London’s West End, and on tour with shows playing both domestically and internationally. In addition to The Last Two People on Earth: An Apocalyptic Vaudeville other current productions include An Evening with Patti LuPone and Mandy Patinkin, John Lithgow’s Stories By Heart, the new musicals A Taste of Things to Come by Debra Barsha and Hollye Levin and Curvy Widow by Bobby Goldman and Drew Brody, and all of Mandy Patinkin’s solo concerts. She general managed the Off-Broadway play The Bitter Tears of Petra von Kant by Fassbinder and was the GM for dre.dance, a contemporary  dance company created by Taye Diggs and Andrew Palermo. Future projects include the new musical Let Loose the Horses, with music by The Rescues, a touring production of Sondheim on Sondheim, and Rooms of Light, a stage concert created by jazz pianist/composer Fred Hersch. From 1996 to 2005 Staci was associated with The Dodgers, working on numerous Broadway, off-Broadway and touring productions including Titanic, Footloose, High Society, The Music Man, 42nd Street, Wrong Mountain, Into the Woods, Barbra’s Wedding, Bare, Urinetown, Dracula, and Good Vibrations, as a member of Dodger Management Group.

Gelsey Mahanes

Gelsey began dancing at Dancers Workshop and was a member of Austin Dance Works before moving to Los Angeles where she performed professionally for many years.  Gelsey became a Radio City Rockette, performed with the National Touring Company, and at Radio City Music Hall in New York City for many years.    As a Media Rockette and spokeswoman, Gelsey performed at the White House for the President, on Oprah, Entertainment Tonight, The Today Show, NBC Weekend Today, MSNBC, CNN, The Mike and Juliet Show, and The Paula Deen Show.  Some of her favorite dance jobs include performing in the films You Again, 500 Days of Summer, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, Starsky and Hutch, Looney Tunes Back in Action, A Time For Dancing, Thank Heaven! and Angels, Baby and on TV shows including The Young and the Restless, Boston Public, MTV Movie Awards, and TV Land Awards. Gelsey has also appeared in many commercials, industrial presentations, and stage shows, including those for Disney, ABC, ESPN, M&Ms, Pace Picante Sauce, Cricket Cellular, 7-Up, Microsoft, The WNBA, Sunrider, and Lovin Lakin. As a certified Pilates instructor, Gelsey has trained with some of the best dancers and choreographers you see every week on So You Think You Can Dance and Dancing with the Stars. She teaches master classes and adjudicates dance competitions and festivals internationally.

Amanda Bucker

Amanda is a Dancer, singer and acrobat for Universal Studios in Japan, Disneyland in Japan, Holland Cruise lines, Lee-Ann Rimes Concerts and the Tournament of Roses

Kourtnee Stewart

Kourtnee is working on her BA in Dance and minor in Criminal Justice from California State University. She has worked at Disneyland and other venues.

Amy Brinegan

Amy graduated from Texas A&M University, she currently performs with a Hip-Hop company called “Fade to Black” at Texas A&M.

Kristin Dusold

She was selected for the Edge Scholarship winner in Los Angeles, performed in 3 different dance companies. She worked on camera in movies until a knee injury. Kristin now works for McDonald Selznick Association who represents Dancers & Choreographers.

Halley Willcox

She graduated from Texas Christian University with a BFA in Modern Dance. She studied at the Edge Hill University in England. In New York she performed at Alvin Ailey Studios, Kenesis Project Dance Theater and many others.

 Beth San Miguel

Beth San Miguel is a proud Dancer’s Workshop and Austin Dance Works Alum. She received a BPA in Dance Performance from Oklahoma City University, and promptly moved out to Las Vegas! She’s ridden a dolphin the the sky and danced on the moon as Rio Rita in the Show in the Sky, been a tiger wielding, magician’s assistant, a tap dancing gorilla, and toured as a far as Spokane, WA, with Vegas Nights, and Showstoppers! broadway revue. Currently living back in Austin, she is pleased to be performing monthly with the Avant Glam Cabaret.
