Ashley Kwasna

Ashley Kwasna is a graduate from Texas State University where she received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with a focus in Performance and Choreography. Ashley was born in New York and raised in Texas where she began dancing at the age of three. She has trained in Ballet, Contemporary, Jazz, Modern, Hip Hop, Lyrical, Ballroom, Flamenco, Improvisation, and Folkorico. She started dancing competitively at the age of nine and received numerous awards.

Starting at the age of thirteen, Ashley had the opportunity to travel to San Francisco, New York City, Los Angeles, and Dallas to train with the Joffrey Ballet School for four summers on a full scholarship. Ashley is currently on staff at ShowMakers of America and choreographs around Texas. At the end of her freshman year of college, she was awarded the Charlie and Joy Williams Scholarship for Outstanding Freshman Dance Major. During her junior and senior year, she was selected to perform at the American College Dance Association’s Gala. One of her favorite memories during college was being a part of Merge Dance Company. She was given opportunities to work with numerous artists from around the country and perform in company showcases. Ashley looks forward to sharing her knowledge with the next generation!
