Summer Dance Intensives
Our summer intensives are designed for students looking to improve their technique and/or focus on specific goals. Read below for details.
Payment Policies
- All Intensives require a $150 non-refundable and non-transferable deposit.
- Dancers Workshop is offering a $15 discount on additional intensives if a dancer enrolls in more than one. (Vibe, Drill Prep, Ovation Technique & Performance, and Diversity 1 and 2 qualify).
- Any camp or intensive balance is due two weeks before the camp begins. Any discounts will be applied to the balance due.
- There is a $10 discount for all current members and there is a $15 multi intensive discount for your 2+ intensive this summer (per child, not per family).
VIBE
June 17-20, M-Th, 10am-5pm
VIBE Intensive (June 17-20) is our most intensive summer camp, designed for intermediate and advanced dancers. Dancers Workshop staff will instruct alongside guest choreographers and master teachers from LA, NYC, etc. The year’s staff will be announced soon. If you are interested in this camp and did not receive an invitation via email, please reach out to the office and we can discuss if this camp is appropriate for your dancer.

Diversity Intensive
June 10-13, M-Th, 9am-3pm
Wanting more of a challenge than what our themed camps offer? Diversity Intensive is perfect for students entering 1st-7th grade with previous dance experience. Offered June 10-13, there will be daily classes in Ballet, Jazz, Hip Hop and specialty classes offered in Tap, Acro, Contemporary, Lyrical, Musical Theatre and more! This camp is perfect for our young dancers that are wanting to improve their technique over the summer. Dancers will be split by age and ability.

Grades: Entering 1st-7thh grade (Dancers will be split into groups according to age)
Diversity Intensive
Aug 5-8, M-Th, 9am-3pm

Ovation Performance Intensive
July 29-Aug 1, 10am-5pm
Ovation Performance Intensive meets July 29-Aug 1 from 1-5pm, as an extension to Ovation’s Technique Intensive. The Performing Intensive will study a classical ballet story and dancers will learn choreography throughout the week to put together their own production. A performance on Thursday evening for family and friends wraps up the week. The Ovation Technique Intensive is required for participation in the Performance Intensive. Dancers will be split by age and ability.

Ovation Technique Intensive
July 22-25, 10am-5pm
Ovation Technique Intensive is designed for dancers that love Ballet! This intensive is also highly encouraged for any dancer considering participating in The Nutcracker in the fall. Dancers entering 2-4th grade will have a half day camp (1-5pm). 5th grade and up is a full day camp (from 10am-5pm). Classes include Ballet, Pointe or Pre-Pointe, PBT, Contemporary, Pantomime, Repertory and more. Dancers will be split by age and ability.

Drill Prep Intensive
July 8-11th, 9am-3pm, 6th Grade and up
This intensive will focus on classes in Ballet, Jazz, Hip Hop, Kick, Conditioning, and more. We end the intensive with a mock audition so dancers can receive written feedback and experience how an audition is set up. Classes taught by DW staff and local guest drill team directors.
