I highly recommend Dancers Workshop for dancers, because there’s something for everyone, from the child wishing to dabble in dance to the child who wishes to dance competitively. I feel so lucky that my daughter began dancing at Dancers Workshop starting in the 2nd grade in ballet and hip hop. She’s now about to start the 5th grade, and is up to 6 hours of dance per week. Her natural progression was a result of her own desires, and it reflects the fact that this studio is a positive, encouraging, and technically excellent place to dance. I’ve seen her grow so much in her love of the art form, and I’ve seen her desire to do more and get better really push her forward, inspired by and encouraged by her teachers and peers. The teachers strike a great balance between motivating the dancers to propel forward in their technique, while keeping the dancers excited about dance. The choreography is just so enjoyable to watch, and the dancers look like they are having so much fun each time i watch a competition or recital. Besides the excellent teachers, another asset of the studio is the tone. There is such a positive feeling in the Dancers Workshop community. The parents are so friendly and helpful, and that trickles down to the dancers. Twice I heard my daughter express concern she’d forgotten an item, and twice, I heard a dancer she didn’t know give her a suggestion as to how to substitute or deal with the issue. Even kids we don’t know are encouraging to her! I couldn’t ask for better dance peers for her! In general, I feel such trust that the studio is there to bring out the best in its dancers and inspire them to express themselves fully through dance. My own daughter’s confidence has grown so much, as well as her physical strength. I can’t wait to see what lies ahead for her at dancers workshop. I’m so glad she asked to be a dancer and that we found a great community at Dancers Workshop.
